Angel Fund provides financial aid for emergency vet care to pet owners who cannot afford necessary veterinary care. The fund has been receiving increasing requests because of our prominent spay/neuter effort and our work with the community animals.

Since POA Animal Control can only take in animals from within the Village boundaries, HSVAWL will occasionally help with animals in need from the community surrounding Hot Springs Village. This might include strays located at the east or west gates, feral cats with kittens, animals from our veterinarians, or other special situations. Community animals are treated the same as those coming from Animal Control where HSVAWL gets them ready for adoption and finds them loving homes.

This fund is used to underwrite the expenses incurred at our low-cost Spay and Neuter Clinics and voucher program that serve low-income families in our surrounding communities

This fund was used to cover the expenses we incurred for the expansion of the HSVAWL Animal Shelter. We maintain this fund to cover any necessary repair expenses or to replace any equipment needed at the shelter to provide the best care for our animals.

The memorial fund is to honor a special person or pet (living or deceased). The honored person/pet or their family is notified of the donation if an address is provided. For memorials of $50 or more, a digital plaque with the named person/pet is included on the HSVAWL Adoption Center memorial display.

The HUG program is road trips for dogs on their way to their new homes. We get them ready for transport to an area where adopters are plentiful. We have longstanding partner rescues that share our values to ensure that they are adopted into forever homes with loving families.

Helps fund special needs pets. Sometimes animals come into our care that may have ongoing medical or other needs that if met, will allow them to be healthy, happy, and provide years of joy to their families. If eligible, Special Paws can help make sure that happens.

AWL has updated our Facebook account that now provides an area where anyone can donate or choose AWL for a special event fundraiser such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
There is no cost to you, to your donors, or to the AWL!
To create a fundraiser, simply follow these steps on Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook page and scroll down on the menu on the left, then click on Fundraisers (you may have to click on "See More" to find it).
- Under the heading "Raise Money for Non-Profit," click "Select Nonprofit."
- Search for Animal Welfare League HSV.
- On the left hand side of the page is where you can enter details of your fundraiser - title of fundraiser (birthday, pet "gotcha"anniversary), enter the goal for donations, date you want it to end, etc. The right hand side shows a preview of the fundraiser.
- When it is complete, click on CREATE.

AWL's Golden Paws Society, a legacy gift program, lets you support our lifesaving work for animals in need well into the future. Legacy giving is for anyone who wants to create a lasting impact that will live on beyond their lifetime. All gifts, both large and small, make a difference. Many compassionate people donate to such charities during their lifetime, only a few have the foresight to continue their support with a legacy gift.
